The taste of summer is in this peach pie. Plus it's only five ingredients!
Ingredients: 1 pie shell (homemade or store-bought) pre-baked 1/2 water 1/4 cup cornstarch 5-6 large peaches or 7-8 small peaches, diced and mashed 1/2 cup sugar Pinch of salt
Directions: 1. In a small bowl whisk together water and cornstarch to form a slurry. 2. Pour slurry into a saucepan and add the peaches, sugar and salt. 3. Heat mixture over medium heat, stirring often. 4. Bring mixture to a boil and continuously stir for about a minute or two more. The mixture should be thick and sputtering. 5. Pour the filling into your prepared pie shell and allow to cool to room temperature. 6. Chill pie in the fridge for a couple hours.
